I need a new power supply to run 2 GTX 260's in my sig rig, I will have about $100 to spend. Any recommendations?

I have heard different things on OCZ PSU's but this seems like a good deal.

If you can stretch an extra $20, I'd highly recommend this, there is a 650W version too, which is a bit cheaper and I'd have thought would do the job - not 100% sure on the power requirements of your rig though.

This is a tough call at $100

BFG says that for a pair of GTX 260's you need 850 watts, but can get away 800 watts, no less.

Getting even a good 750 might be a bit too close.

If that OCZ is based on a Seasonic platform, then maybe, but I read several threads with blown OCZ's after 1 year.

These are a little more, but you should be considering among these....

But some of those are 750's, and you're possibly going to ride them too close to their limits for any longevity when overclocked.

@JVene

Considering 2 GTX 470's will run on 850W, BFG are miles off the mark. I'd have thought 2 GTX 260's would run on a very good 650, and would be comfortable on a 750W.

A 650w will be fine. When I had it, I ran an i5 750 @ 4.3ghz, with Sli gtx 260 on a corsair TX650. Folded 24/7 on it and was always fine. I only got the HX1000 because I was planning on putting in a 3rd gtx 260 on this X58 setup.

I'd personally go with one of those Antec True power new listed above.

Those are really great psu's. I have the 650w, I got it for $70 and it's great.

A quality 650W unit would be more than sufficient. No to the OCZ, the Corsair is decent but not a great choice, the TPN 750 is good, but he can get by with the TPN 650W to fit under budget.
