so currently I have 2x 9800gx2's and what i want is to play my games across my 3x monitors i don't care much fro the 3d but I defently want the 180deg surround xp. My question is can my video cards support this with the new driver release are do I need to buy a new pair of graphics cards. I don't want to lose quad sli also.

If they don't support this will 2x gtx295 do the trick are is only one supported in surround gaming?

Yeah, I think it depends on the game; or you need to use a third party app to make it stretch/separate them on all 3 monitors ( if that's what you mean )

im just asking about the new nvidia drivers and if quad sli supports 3 monitors span when using 2x9800gx2 or 2xgtx295. i know another alternative is matrox tripplehead2go but I just want to stick with nvidia without buying extra external components.

to my understanding the nvidia 400 and 200series only support the 3 monitor span but it didnt make it clear if it works on 2xgtx295. i dont think a single gtx295 has enough power to span a game across 3 monitors at full resolution and graphics.

Yet they list it as a "single card" solution. Damn nvidia!
