That's a tough one...I'd say the case and, although I really hope you stick with it, the mobo...890FX is where it's at . Or you could get a 2GB kit of RAM instead of a 4GB kit, but that's probably a bad idea.

i would like to stick with 4gb ram.

if i had to downgrade case and mobo which ones would you recommend that would accommodate a 5970.

the board doesnt need to have more than 2 pcix16 slots...

Why get a DVD drive? You can get a DVD burner cheaper (ex: link).

Dude...The optical drive in his build is cheaper than the one you listed...

Anyway, I really want you to keep the 890FX board, so here's what I have so far...
Antec Truepower New TP-650 PSU -- $99.99
Cooler Master 922 -- $89.98
Asus Radeon 5970 from ExcaliburPC -- $619.00

Almost there, gimme a few more minutes...This is like $3 over right now, haha...

You could drop a dollars off the price with some cuopons, bing cashback (better hurry they are discontinuing it on july 30 ), haf 922 over 932, lower quality fans, buying used/open box stuff (I'm personally not a big fan of that), combo deals (where you buy two or more items together for a lower price), or save some more money ($93 shouldn't be that hard to save up if you really want that 1050t ). That should shave off atleast $93 if not more.

All right, I've shaved at least $93 off without changing the mobo...

Cooler Master 922 -- $89.98
Asus Radeon 5970 from ExcaliburPC -- $619.00
Corsair 650TX PSU -- $89.99

EDIT: Actually, if you stick with the Antec TruePower New TP-650 in my last post, it comes with a $25 rebate. That should save you enough for a 1090T.

I don't really know about those companies. You never want to cheap out on a power supply, if it fails it could take your mobo, cpu, gpu, and ram with it. I would stay with corsair, antec, and seasonic.

I dont think he needs to be downgrading his psu...
With an overclocked hexa core and an overclocked 5970 he will be pulling like 700 watts.
