Don't know about that but I know the collector's edition comes with a replica poker chip from the game among other goodies I can't remember off the top of me head.

my question is. Have they got FOSE working with steam versions? If not, this is the worst thing that could happen to New vegas, it would ruin the modding scene, which is the real reason anything bethsoft makes is worth a damn.

Just saw the LE now I am stumped. I hate DLC, as IMO they are milking me like a cow and I usually get the GOTY edition so I get all the DLC for the normal price. However I love LE stuff. Decisions, decisions.

could be very bad. since they are including steamworks for achievements, it might not be possible to modify the Fallout.exe files without problems.

Only time will tell. i cant believe i am the only person to see the problem here?

IF you two had read the Source you'd see that the spokesperson for Bethesda explicitly states that they're fully supporting mods. This means FOSE will not cause issues with Steam.

there is a difference between fully supporting mods, and supporting a program that alters in game code to provide added functionality. The fact is that GFWL and FOSE are not compatible running together. Which quite possibly means that Steamworks will cause it to be incompatible.

Its not a mod at all. This adds things to the game for modders to use, which are entirely impossible to do without FOSE. While they will support modding, there is quite the question as to whether FOSE will be compatible.

Steam is notorious for bad launches and server issues. Also, if your steam account gets hacked or falsely banned, you are out the $$$ for all of your games. This game will be pirated just as easily as any other game.

I don't see the point in companies wasting time and resources on DRM when the crack groups still get the game on bittorrent before the publisher gets it on store shelves.
