MY A3 core just stopped working after 40%.

Unstable OC?
Or is it just the fact that me multitasking while Folding is a bad idea?
I can increase voltage a notch or so if need be. It's IntelBurn 20 High stable but I guess it might not be so much during Folding and other long 100% CPU tasks...

Folding is very CPU sensitive... you might not have a stable OC. Try a voltage bump perhaps.

When mine crashed it was because of unstable OC, added a bit of vcore and its been chugging along ever since.

Excellent; upping to 1.5 tomorrow morning and seeing how it goes. If I come home to find another problem, I might try the Northbridge voltage.

Foolding while using other applications is fine; SMP2 is very good at sharing.

So work on the OC, and you should be fine.

Oh, and watch our for Projects 6013 and 6041; they're harder on the CPU than the rest.

Sounds good, I'm on project 6073 right now. By harder, do you mean something like "runs hotter" or "more stressful"? My load temps have some headroom, being 58C during IntelBurnTests and 55C right now while folding (62C is max)

I'd go with more stressful.

You're going to see less PPD from those as well as it's going to test your OC to the max. Folding is a good stress tester. I'm pretty satisfied with my daily OC on here, as it can actually fold Too bad I am packing up the PC for a while. I will continue to fold during the Foldathon, but won't be much sadly. When I get to Hawaii though, I'm going to do part 2 of my WC setup and put my GTX-480's underwater. Should net some NICE overclocks on these bad boys when they are ready to go. Always glad to have more folders!

Well... it's happened again at 15%, with a CPU voltage bump. The exact error code I get is 0xc0000029, with everything being stated as a "Client-core communications error". It also says (above that) Core Status = C0000029 (-1073741783).
I'm going to try this again but with a Northbridge voltage bump. I don't think this OC is unstable because of the CPU because it had been fully tested at both 1.475 and 1.5v. I think it might be the NB or RAM affecting me, unless it is a software problem. Temps are stable at 55C as always.

Have you Prime95'd or OCCT'd or any other stability test on the PC?
