Seeking advice on ASUS CuCore Series EAH4850 CUCORE TOP/2DI/1GD3 Radeon HD 4850 1GB

Hello,

I am looking into buying two of these cards ASUS CuCore Series EAH4850 CUCORE TOP/2DI/1GD3 Radeon HD 4850 1GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121380

The desktop will mostly be used to run multiple virtual machines (15-20) and there are 3 DVI LCD monitors that will be connected to this desktop. The total RAM will be 12 GB and the motherboard I have is ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131365

I will not be using the machine for gaming or photoshop etc nor do I intend to overclock.

My prime concern is in terms of how well the cooling on the card is with the OEM fan that ships with the card and does it get too hot.

Please let me know your thoughts and if you own one of these cards.

I don't own one, but the 5850 with CUCORE is very cool. I think they are both pretty same.

I say go for it, they won't get too hot since its dual slot (reference 4850 is single slot).
