and like i said, it auto overvaults past your setting, which is what i meant by limiting, not MAX VOLTAGE ON MOBO

getbigtony I don't understand your point. If you want a specific voltage then you adjust the bios voltage w/any Vdroop or over voltage that may occur in mind. F10 Yes to save go back into bios and check the last saved settings for voltages to make sure it'll be safe then go in to windows and check the voltages again. Most motherboards that I have used have either vdroop or overvoltage of some sort and bios codes can either improve or make this worse from one version to the next.

What is this setting on MSI board??
Don't understand why it overvolts a bunch when unnecessary.

Some enthusiast boards have over voltage settings. I have a couple of ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe mobo's that overvolt the cpu w/out any over voltage settings. I'll put the cpu voltage at 1.32v and it overvolts to about 1.35-1.375 and those mobo's have 8 phase power circuitry.

By the way, how's that overclock looking? You still stable?

I'm considering trading in my board for this one. How well does this board handle vDroop?
