Yeah, that's a CWT DSG for sure. The casing does look a bit HEC Cougar inspired tho.

I don't think it's a CWT DSG, even CWT doesn't even list them as gold. The PUK is listed as gold though.

The transient filter/primary look the same as DSG from what I can see. You can see the two covered coils and the MOV through the back grille, and you can see the big secondary coil there as well.

Ok, they do open it up. That standard CWT transient filter is there, coil MOV coil coil.

Ok, not DSG, but there are a few similarities.

Don't think so, but I've seen the name thrown around a few times. Why not ask over at JG?

I was just wondering as that is the only 80+ gold platform by cwt. Then again the DSG is technically 80+gold too.

I guess I thought it looked just like the TX950 on the inside, so DSG sprung to mind right away.

The HX750/850 aren't really DSGs. They have similar components, but the layout is quite different. The TX950 OTOH is pretty much a stock DSG and the pic in the video looks identical to that. This is what the PUK looks like. PUK and DSG are from different teams within CWT so I doubt there are many similarities (P = Channel Well, D = Data Well).
