Blasphemy!!! Left 4 dead is one of the absolute smoothest games i've ever played.

And for me, I love you bethesda and I love your games, but you seriously need to work on them. I can't tell you how many times I have been in an awesome moment in oblivion and had it crash on me. Fallout 3 isn't as bad when it comes to the crashing, but it still does.

Mass effect and the stalker games come in second. Another set of games that I love, but they are pretty glitchy.

I've also had dragon age crash on me a couple times. All these great games that have crappy coding. It's a shame, really.

There's no option for AF in Crysis, and forcing AF through the control panel doesn't work if you're in Very High mode ... at least not w/o some modding of configs (specifically, you have to disable the parallax occlusion feature that's on by default in VH mode).

AFA the topic at hand, I'm just picking one game. The game that looks the crappiest despite the pathetic amount of frames it gets Cryostasis. Hands down worst-coded game I've ever played (some of). With my heavily OC'd GTX295 and i7 at 4.0, I'd get dips into the 20's in these tiny rooms with like 10 feet of draw distance, with no enemies, no explosions, nothing going on whatsoever. Plus it was painfully boring in general.

Interesting. How much of an affect does taking that off have?
