It would be advantageous since you would have another PCI-e slot open for future SLI. (in case you get the need to)

How about GTX 460 SLI? You can get 2 of them for less than a GTX 480 and still have the best gaming experience. And yeh it's definitely faster than your current HD5770 CF.

i currently have x2 5770 and ive just purchased a gtx480, tbh the 5770's have been a bit of a headache for me mostly due to driver issues, if u like i can report back my findings after i get the new card ... i pick it up tomorrow cant wait XD
