You'll see an increase in fps, a huge decrease in loading times if you play BC2, and much more stability. Updates are good. 10.4 and 10.5 have been fine on my 5870, zero crashes.

Only affects on temps would be if it changes your fan profile, which mine is custom anyway through MSI Afterburner.

Unless you were using a review sample from ATI (which you're not), I would definitely upgrade to 10.5.

Why dont you try for yourself instead of making a dumbass thread. take an hour to uninstall/ install new drivers/ check FPS to see if theres a change -.-

Wow, calm down...
---------------------------

Yes you will see a increase in fps, load times will go down (not much), some freeze or lag problems might be solved, etc..
10.5 is great , recommed.

I loved the 9.12's for my 4890. The 10.4's and 10.5's gave me a drop in fps. Only use the 10.5a drivers for BC2. If it wasnt for that game I would still be using 9.12

Since you're using a 5850, I'd definitely upgrade the drivers, because the 5xxx series cards have been finely polished with the drivers.
