I still don't understand however why setfsb is freezing my computer on settings that I have been using for it for months after I tried to OC but then went back to failsafe.

He said a "stock cooler" but apparently he names his coolers to.

Ahh, he posted as I was making my post that's why I didn't see it.

Can't expect much of an OC on a stock cooler, however like it has been mentioned here before, reapply your TIM, clean out any dust bunnies from the actual cooler and doing what you can for airflow in your case will help.

I can't get any thermal paste today but I'm going to go in and clean the inside of my computer.

I have some good news! Me and my dad went and cleaned out all of the dust that was inside my computer/heatsink/graphics card and things are running much better. I went and OC'd my computer to 2.66GHz and ran my emulator and before it heated to like 75-80c but now it peaks at 55-60c and this is BEFORE I go out and buy thermal paste and reapply it!
