First: thanks everyone, I appraised the help.

You might be better off attaching that intel HSF to the backside of the GPU, while leaving the stock fan where it was, and leaving the ghetto fan on as well. I've heard that helps a lot.
I've tried, but there is not enough place (physically) between the 8800TX and my AC freezer 7 for the intel fan.

Interested in selling her?
Nop, not for sell

thats still very high, I have done the same thing and it idles at 42-45 and loads out at 66-70

EDIT:make sure the fan is pushing air into the HS
Yep, pushing air.

So, I took the heatsink off, and it appears that I used to little thermal past, cleaned everything up, reapplied, put back the old refers fan + the ghetto fan.
I still need to find the best easy to make a new "shroud".

Before:

While:

After:

Temps:
Ambient: 29
Idle: 55 - 58C.
30 minutes of full load: 84C
I think that's kinda good, given that the card is overclocked to 594/1403/900.

My graphics card is at 40 degrees C while gaming... I think your temperatures are WAY too hot. Kind of running it dangerous.

that is way to hot still just leave on the old cooling or invest in aftermarket cooling.
