Agreed. The FTC was already looking at this, so they'll just have to look a little more closely.

The point of jailbreaking an iPhone is not to remove ads. Let's be honest, ads are the only reasons many apps are free. The developer spent valuable time making those apps, and you might as well help them cover their own costs.

Great, you hate ads. Most apps offer a paid version which removes said ads. If you hate ads so much, why don't you just buy the paid version?

btw, rooting Android phones is a good idea, gets you loads more features.
