How come it says "Custom" instead of "Very High"? Did you full uninstall the Mster Config from start menu? I think it still leaves an autoexec.txt which still alters the graphic settings.

Dunno. I uninstalled the entire config.

Yeah it still left an autoconfig. I just deleted it and I'll rerun it.

Try doing this:

In the benchmark too where it says "Custom Cvars", enter the following:

con_restricted=0
sys_spec_full=4

Then retry the benchmark. That should force "Very High" settings unless something else is overwriting it.

Take a screenshot in bench, if it still shows up as custom, then take a screenshot of your "Program Files (x86)\\Electronic Arts\\Crytek\\Crysis" folder, then go into the "Game" folder and take a screenshot of it as well.

EDIT: I see you found the autoexec.txt file.

Ahh that makes much more sense. Thanks. Really nice minimum FPS there.

BTW, are you using a custom BIOS?

Oh I see, how did you disable them? With NiBitor? Any chance you could detail the process of creating such a BIOS?

Nah, there's a custom bios in the volt mod section that benchzowner posted.

I just saw this post, but I had to comment. I'm not sure where you got 10fps avg over the 465 unlock results.

Let's analyze the 465 unlocked (470) to 480 results

Vantage is roughly 12fps avg higher between the two gpu tests
3dmark03 is roughly 76fps avg higher between all 4 gpu tests
Crysis is approximately 8fps avg higher
FarCry 2 is practically 18fps average higher
Dirt 2 is 17fps average higher
RE5 was 20fps higher
Hawx is 18fps
Streetfighter 4 is 34fps average higher

mathematical average would put that around 25fps higher between the 2 cards. 25fps is a VERY big difference when considering averages. Even if we use a standard deviation method of averaging results by excluding 3dmark03 and crysis the results are still around 20fps average higher than the 465 unlock. I would say that's a considerable increase in gpu power.
