MSI - Isolated incidents or a bad company? - Page 2

So yes, I'd say it's more of an isolated thing than anything that reflects on the company as a whole.
I disagree, i have personally seen much wider scopes of Asus AND Gigabyte failure than MSi, my 2 cents
2 asus mobos, 1 gpu, 1 sound card, 2 gigabyte mobos

complete systems usually have a lot more problems then custom builds, so I would exclude this fact for his question
Sony, Dell, Asus all do the same thing on their netbooks and laptops since they are also a lot harder to fix then custom builds

Never had a problem to report from MSI. Two mobos and four video cards from them and all were flawless. Their customer support, in my experience, was fantastic as well.

Personally, I had only good experiences with MSI in the past.

But this thread might be worth reading in relation to your question: http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherb...do-my-msi.html

This appeared to be brand new, and I think it was to tell you the truth but the card kept locking up in game, giving me discoloration and crashes, issues I never had with the previous card. So I figure the new card was just faulty and no one bothered to test it or something happened to it when it was shipping here.

As far as quality goes I think they are great, the 5770s I owned were top notch. I can't vouch for the RMA process or warranty validity, however I heard their BIOS is not as friendly as some.
