Hi all, first time poster here!

I want to oc my 1090T, but I'm too much of a ***** to go outside stock voltages and I want to go on multiplier only. Will that do the trick alone?

Any settings I should disable to improve stability??

Mobo: Crosshair IV
Memory: 4GB OCZ Black Edition 1600
Graphics: HD 5870 Vapor-X

Edit:
Cooling: Coolit A.L.C. modded with San Ace serverfan and shroud.
Case: CM 690 with Noctua 5.25"fans on every concievable spot^^

^Disable Cool'n'Quite, C1E and Turbo Core Technology.

My 1090T can hit the 3.7GHz at stock voltage, try 1st rising the multiplier with the stock voltage and doing the stability test with prim95 or LinX.

Hey all,

Thanks for the response so far!

Is it possible to get a 1090 T to go 4 GHz just by putting the multiplier at 20?

Thanks,

Alt

I read that you shouldn't go over 1,45 volts on the cpu. This is correct?

The recommended voltage for 1090T is 1.4V, but that depends of the cooler and temps. Always that your temps stay below 57ºC, you can go until 1.5V. Even you can go with 1.7V with a good LCS.

Check this the 1st table can give you an idea of the settings and the max voltage depending of the cooler system.
