Is it ok to run my Northbridge voltage at 1.3v? Most peoples seems around 1.2v but if i set it to auto it sets it to 1.37v anyway which is higher!

I just got my 1090T last week, threw together a quick build after my 932 was stolen -- along with a couple thousand dollars investment and hundreds of hours of labor modding it... ah well, I begin again...
Still experimenting but I am stable (at least for daily operation -- need an aftermarket HSF after my next paycheck!)

I need help getting my CPU to 4.0ghz or 4.2ghz. My CPU is stable at 3.8. Are these temps normal for this chip? 34c idle. 63 under load

Depending on your ambient (you don't list a location) and due to the fact you're running 1.47Vcore (for 3.8GHZ?) it could be normal, but load temp isn't very impressive. You may be able to improve temps with either a re-seat of the cooler and/or playing with case fans to improve air flow through the case.

If your looking for some real good info on the "How To" OC give this a read http://www.overclock.net/amd-general/525113-phenom-ii-overclocking-guide.html it contains a lot of useful info, plus gives you a path to follow. Always better to learn through experience rather than having members do the try this, and than this thing. Rather than clog up this thread you might want to make another post if you have more questions. Also feel free to PM me if I can be of any service. Good luck!

Edit: I just noticed your mobo model, you may want to have a good look at this thread to when it comes to running an OC'd hexacore on 4+1 phase count and non heat sinked VRM's http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherboards/946407-amd-motherboard-vrm-information-list.html I don't think I'd get too carried away with OCing without first under standing the risks and hopefully make a few improvements to prevent possible damage.

Thanks for the help sandman. But i did OC my 1090T to 4.0ghz its stable now ive been playing the BF3 beta for 5hrs straight. My CPU was getting hot because i set my fans set wrong fail on my part. It does 28c on idle and about 39c on load. Im going to update my CPU status. Thanks for the help though.
