Thanks

4.0GHz should be doable but in my opinion never short yourself on the cooling solution. This is a very common phase we all go through lol. IMHO it's better to delay if ness to save $$$ and go enthusiast level rather than budget for a cooler. Reason is you won't be satisfied with a budget cooler once you start OCing that Thuban. 4.0 is common (usually 1.4v to 1.44v Vcore) depending on setup. I use to run 4013MHz and 3000MHz NB Freq on a Scythe Mungen II http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185142 with P/P GT AP15's and 4.0GHz (1.410 Vcore) was my thermal limit for summer temps. Simply count the number of heat pipes between the two units, that should answer any questions.

Something to keep in mind, lower temps require less Vcore to stabilize. It's a win/win to go big or go home when it comes to upgrading cooling solution. The 212 will work, as many have written about but hands down when the OCing bug strikes you won't be impressed when ambient temps rise or with all the noise from the fans. Again IMHO the 212 is more designed for a quad core. If the time comes I ever return to air cooling this has always been a real performer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608024 and my personal favorite. Only down side is it's massive size, but upside is many have hit 4.2GHz with the D14 and a Thuban.

OCing can change a person (and there rig) did me! Only took about 4 months months before it hit and I started replacing a three month old system piece by piece lol. Budget coolers work, but are a temporary solution, just ask anyone who's already upgraded. "Wish I would have done this the first time around"

Has any one OCd on my board by chance Im having some difficulties I also have another question regarding my timings. I have them set to 9-9-9-27 but for some reason under SPD in CPU-Z its showing different timing and says 800 Mhz is that correct or did I miss something up?

Oh snap I think I messed up 4 GB of my memory is a Kingston Hyber X which requires 1.65v what should I do I tried increasing both to 1.65 and I blue screened
