Working on mine today, looks like it's gonna need a bit of voltage to topple 4.2ish.

What's the latest clock/voltage you are stable at?

4.0 @ 1.5v, LLC off. Ran 4 hours of Small FFTs with no problem, but I'm having a little trouble cooling this thing. Might have to attempt a reseat, it's at about 52C right now with 1.462v, stock NB.

I would try that, you already got it going in P&P so doubt you'll get better performance unless you get some crazy fans or do a reseat.

Reseat helped a bit, but we shall see how far I can get it tonight. Might drop it back to 3.8ish with reduced voltage, now having trouble working the NB above 2700. Slightly disappointed thus far.

I run mine at 2.6 GHz NB 1.11v. Stays nice and cool and still feels really snappy.

I have had other chips do very well with NB clocks, even unlocked C2 chips.

edit: oof, brain didn't complete that thought. I sort of expected better NB clocks, with so many people around here running 3000-3200NB like it's no problem. We'll see, lots of time.

1090T's are known to run some nice NB clocks, but every system is different you know. Just tweak it bro, you'll get it.

Remember your RAM has to be 1/2 of your NB I believe. So for example if your NB is 2800 MHz, your RAM has to be 1400/700 MHz. I would look into this in case I am misguiding you, but I saw this somewhere.

I always found single-threaded apps and benches to benefit most around 2650-2800, but the difference between them is very close to nil, not really recognizable in any real-world application. I'm not bummed about it, just.... got in the rut of over-expectations I think. I'll be working tonight at getting the NB clear without too much voltage, and I'll probably stick around 3900-3950 for the CPU, since I have a feeling that it's the range where I'll best balance temps and performance. I've got some things to do in Indigo and Maya later, and I'm excited to see if I spent wisely.

Good luck bro. It's nice to have a balance between performance/temps.
