I thought the formula went like this..........NB frequency should be 3x your memory frequency. So 3000MHz NB you should have 2000MHz(1000 non DDR) memory to fully utilize the NB. Personally I run 3000MHz NB with only 1600MHz memory. And when my 1090T gets here this week I'll probably use very similar settings.

Have to check my notes but, the temp are great at 3800 but when I go to 3900 it spikes up 5C to around 43. I was hitting it with a 1.45 voltage and didnt want to play to find the correct voltage. After some trial and error I lowered the voltage to 1.42+ to run all cores at 3900 but it still spikes up 5C.

I was thinking about using a H50 as I have a couple laying around. Unfornatuely, I don't like their performance at idle so I use air, which is one of the reasons I use HAF cases.

The 38C was with a different cooler than the N520 - If I remember I think I used a Frio which I borrowed from one of the i7 systems with both fans on high.

Can not win for losing

Ok, but you may have missed it . Your vcore will be 1 point something volts. Any more than 1.5-1.6 and that baby is going to cook .

Edit. Looks like you edited. I replied to the email where it said 4.5 vcore
