After reading a bit about SSd's i have this doubt what is the Best SSD? The 80 gb vs 60 gb is not important i am looking only at performance.
Intel SSD hands down, a lot of companies try to say their SSD is best because of sequential read/write speeds which isn't that important, what is important is the random read/write performance because Windows isn't just one big file, it's many small files.
TLR, Intel makes the BEST SSD's so far, get one.

I say Intel
The drive is great, and the support (Intel Toolbox) is superb!

Quote:
When opened, the Intel SSD Toolbox displays the following screen with the
name and capacity of each drive on your PC, as well as the following options:

- Intel SSD Management Tools – Enables monitoring and managing of
any Intel SSDs associated with this computer.
- View Drive Information – Displays the model number, serial number
and firmware number for each drive on the system. It also lists the ATA
and SATA capabilities for the selected drive.
- Check SMART Attributes - Lists the SMART features and their respective
thresholds, and, if necessary, indicates any action to take.
- Run Fast Diagnostic Scan – Analyzes the first 1.5 GB of an SSD to
determine whether there are any READ or WRITE errors.
- Run Full Diagnostic Scan – Analyzes the complete SSD to determine
whether there are any READ or WRITE errors or any bad blocks.

For performance, sandforce > intel.
Well if they were the Agility 1 and Vertex 1, then it would be a clear win for Intel, but since these v2 models are based on Sandforce, not Indilinx, it's a win for Sandforce...

However if you prefer a normal support process, with a download page, etc then Intel is the one...
If you prefer the randomness of the OCZ forums support vs a normal download page, the OCZ one is for you...

And yes the Sandforce controller is offering better performance to the Intel one, but at a higher price...

For performance then OCZ Vertex 2 60GB!

Sandforce has the most advance features to date, DuraClass. This technology represents Reliability (RAISE - Huge improvement in drive reliability (single-drive RAID-like protection and recovery) vs other top SSD ), Endurance (DuraWrite - extending flash endurance by 20x) Performance, and Power efficiency.

The sandforce is available in 60Gb? I though it was only in 100GB drives...
Originally OCZ released Agility 2 and Vertex 2 as 50GB/100GB/200GB and 400GB now but later released the "EX Series" of 60GB/120GB/240GB/480GB which has less over provisioning but retains same characteristics otherwise.

OCZ plans a firmware release in some months that will enable normal Vertex 2/ Agility 2 to transform into the Extended Edition should the user choose to do so to gain storage space at the cost of over provisioning.

So the Intel is still the best Choice of them in the 230€ range guess i will buy one tomorrow since today everything i closed is Portugal day! Cant find those OCZ Vertex 2 60Gb with Sandforce though they really look nice. Everyone says Intel X-25M G2 is the better one in day to day use

Doubts:
I have to use AHCI enabled for Trim to work right?
No problems setting this option with my current 500GB HDD?

CyGnus for Sandforce SSD's it's recommended to use AHCI as this gives the max performance of the Sandforce chipset... it really likes AHCI but TRIM will work on both IDE and AHCI mode (also for X-25M G2) too.

If you are on IDE with normal HD with OS already installed and want to change to AHCI, you need to make some registry changes first unless you wanna reinstall the OS. Check this Guide out (scroll down) on how to do this.
