Alienware M15X!

Thread Starter
Hi guys,
planning to buy a new alienware m15x laptop .
Just a question about the video card:
which one should i buy?
- 1GB ATI Radeonâ„¢ Mobility HD 5850
- NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 260M 1GB

The GTX260M is way more expensive than the 5850 but I heard that the 5850 offers better perfomance since its GDDR5

Thanks in advance.

That is right, plus the HD 5850 will offer you DX11 and lower power consumptions
When you do get it, you can add yourself up to this thread:

If you plan on doing mostly gaming get the 5850. If you want to do any kind of video editing, rendering, transcoding, etc, get the GTX 260 because it has CUDA and GPU Acceleration for such things.
