MSI Afterburner question.

Hello,
So I adjust the Core and Memory Clocks simply by entering a number and hitting the enter. The question is, how do I know that my Overclock is safe to use?

Run Furmark/Kombuster for ~15-30 minutes or 3DMark Vantage (couple of runs) or try running the Crysis Benchmark on all high for 4-5 runs.

I think you will either get a system freeze, driver failed suddenly message, or a weird pixelated screen.

My card goes hot even on stock, I have ran the MSI Kombustor and when my GPU went to 101 C I hit ESC . Can my GPU burn when I`m running Kombustor or smth?

Most cards have an overheat protection which once they get to a certain threshold, they either downclock or the computer will automatically shut itself off to prevent further damage.

Are you running your fan @ 100% during testing?

It`s set to Auto, I`ll try to run it on 100% on the test then, thanks.

EDIT: I set it to 100%, now it went to 100C + much slower. I think I have a bad airflow, because at idle, my card is at 70-75C. I`ll wait till I get my HAF922.
