Saying people are retarded and have down syndrome is not a joke. Do you just not understand what is proper to say?

However the RIAA is a joke. They should at least pay the artists something...

Wow. They take things too far. Most artists want you to pirate their music anyways. Limewire is stupid too.

Yeah. Thats why the RIAA needs to be disbanded and perma banned from ever entering the internet again. Also no forms of communication allowed. Or banish them to the Sahara desert or Antarctica let em freeze .

Yes, you can offend an RIAA person, but in my specific post that you conveniently quoted, if you take a quick look at it, I'm pray that is within your scope of intelligence, you can see that I said people here may be offended.

I keep playing devil's advocate here... I don't know if you are a musician, or know any, but even in the independent scene this stuff is hotly debated with artists on both sides of the camp. I guess you could technically say most musicians would want you to pirate their music, but only because most musicians are lucky to have anyone who isn't a close personal friend actually care enough to download their music.

Anyways, I need to stop. I in no way support the RIAA, or what they are doing here. All I'm saying is that there are facts on both sides that require a little more thought than "OMG, the RIAA is so stupid. No way Limewire can pay that!" As someone previously said, it is well known that Limewire cannot pay this. Just as its known that people can't possibly serve 5 life sentences in prison, but sentences like that are handed out. The point is to take everything you possibly can from them, so you set the bar ridiculously high and get what you can.
