What's best card for under $200

Thread Starter
Looking for a card under $200 will be used for a lot of gaming and if it makes any difference I'd like to do some video recording/streaming.

So far for parts I have i7 920 w/ x58 MB also a 22'' 1080p LCD and would like to take advantage of it's HDMI capabilities.

Advice for selecting a video card would be appreciated too, thanks

I've never bought an ATI before, I'm scared to try one =O

Also what do I look for in a good gaming card?
core clock, shader clock, memory clock, stream processors, memory size, or memory interface?

The 5770 hawk is definetly 100% what you should buy. Hands down.

Also, don't be afraid to go ATi. You will thank us after switching.

Right now, the 5770 is the best card under 200 bucks. If you wait a little longer, you could get a gts 450, if you prefer to stick with nvidia. Those cards should probably be out in a month or two(guessing).
