Just got my new pc back after a repair...

However now in my device manager it states my 5870 that they supposedly repaired, is a 5800 series...is that due to drivers? Should I reformat it and reinstall the mobos/video card drivers?

Well, it is 5800 series. I don't see the problem

Awesome! Thanks mate! Do you happen to know off hand if this rig will be able to run Crysis on the high end graphics with DX10? The issue I had before was that the video card basically crashed every game I tried to play within 10 minutes so I never got to test it out.

You should easily be able to play Crysis.

Did the repair shop tell you what was fixed?
