That's the kind of forum this is. You should see threads on piracy or anything that mentions Apple.
This is a forum and as such it a place where people with a common interest meet. So when you have a bunch of people who like computers and play computer games come together there is a good chance that they will be fairly biased against a) Apple and B) articles being critical of computer games.
Also most articles written talking about violence and videogames are written for their shock value. On the other hand articles like this don't totally dismiss the connection, but what they do say videogames aren't entirely at fault. If your interpretation of the world came from the news you would be under the impression that the moment you walked outside you would be killed/raped/robbed.
