Should I go with Switech or Thermochill (i7 930 & GTX 480 SLI setup)

Hey, I've been scouring the forums for the past few days looking up info on different radiators, but I haven't come across too much on the MCR320 QP Drives. So, hopefully some of you kind folk will be able to assist me.

I've got two different configurations that I'm contemplating for my setup; each which will consist of two separate loops:

1.) i7 930 OC'd 4.0+

2.) GTX 480 SLI OC'd high as possible

The big question here is how well two MCR320 QP Drive's will cool these bad boys down. I really like the idea of the radiator containing both the res and the pump (MCP350/5) as this would keep things nice and neat (simple), but I know that the i7 and 480s throw lots of heat so...

Would it be a smart idea to go with two pa120.3s instead? How much of a difference should I expect between these two radiators? is the temperature margin between them more than ~1-3 degrees? If so then I can justify the addition of independent reservoirs and pumps for the pa120.3.

Bear in mind, I am aiming for a fairly quiet setup - probably going to be using 1,800 RPM Scythe Gentle Typhoons (28Db) in push/pull; and price isn't a factor either.

Thanks

Regardless of the temp difference, which I don't believe there's much, Thermochills are of much higher quality than Swiftechs, though there does tend to be substantially more flux in them. You can actually get away with using a 240 on the 930 even if your overclock is over 4.2GHz.

You won't notice a difference in temps between the two.

Ive seen statistics that show the thermochill pa is 8% more effective than the MCR320. Hardly justifies the higher price imo.

Well, the cost for the pa120.3 and all it's accessories amounts to about $425 and the MCR320s cost $400 (both prices before shipping).

So like i said, price isn't that much of a factor - especially since I was going to use an external radiator with one of the MCR's anyways, which make the cost between the two equivalent.

But at any rate, 8% probably isn't worth it. Thanks guys.

----------Edit-----------

also, I didn't want to make a new topic for this... but would I be able to get away with using a MCP350 pump instead of a MCP355 for each loop? What type of difference are we looking at?

Yes. The only difference you'll see is slightly less heat dump.

Isn't there a barb size difference between the 350 and the 355? I believe the 350 is 3/8 ID and 355 is 1/2 ID
