Java Web Development

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm learning Java at the moment using Sun's tutorials along with a Java book I have. I just completed freshmen year in college where we learned C++, but I'm more interested in Java due to its web capabilities.

Basically, I'm looking to complete the basic tutorials for Java & move onto the Web Applications aspect. I'm about 50% of the way completed with the basic tutorials, but I'd like a really informative site for learning how to create XML documents, interact with Tomcat/MySQL (store/retrieve data), and such types of things.
