[very first vantage] on my new gtx 470!

Thread Starter
evening everyone!

So my EVGA GTX 470 arrived today and i finally got a spare moment to run some vantage and overclock it some. I got these results with 800 core 1600 shader and 1869 memory clocks on the gpu, and 4.0 on my 955 BE C3 phenom II.

Im wondering if i pushed the voltage too 1050 MV if i could get around 880 core ish? I have a window air conditioner blasting 60 F air into the case through a drier duct and HAVE NOT Broken 62c on the gpu and 44c on the cpu under load. I think i could push it some more but would like you guys opinion.

you can safely get up to about 80c load, but thats pushing it..

try for 900 core, and if its too hot, back down 30mhz

Turn PhysX off and report your actual score.

On a side note, that avatar is hilarious. I don't know what it is, or why you chose it, but it's great.
