Absolutely! That's why when using LinX to test for stability, you should choose to have it test all RAM.

Yea I know. I always try to have around the same amount of ram free each time; generally around 2900-3000.

@criminal: I can't read any of your info.
Could you post it in this form: CPU Frequency - BCLK-Multiplier -VCORE-VTT (IMC)-Proof (Post the link with a bigger picture)

That would make it a lot easier for me to add it into the spreadsheet. Thanks.

LOL... wow, I can't read it either! I will post a better picture when I get home.

First off, this is my first build, first OC. I got the MicroCenter $200 deal on the chip, so I figured, what the heck, I'll OC it a tad.

Bout to test my 875k at a low OC, this is my family computer and I am the only one who ever pushes it with HD video encoding. The rest of my family uses it as a desktop-netbook (on crack). So, there will be no 4ghz+ OC from me.

nonetheless, I have yet to stress it with LinX, but will do shortly. I have only set the multi to step up +5,4,3,3 on the cores being used. That equates to about 3.33 for 4 cores, and 3.6 on a single thread.

133 bclk, 1.24 VCORE, 1.12 VTT (auto) and 1.5 vram.
Temps are Idle at 23 maxing around 70 when running P95.
I am wondering if the VCORE is too low or high for the mid 3ghz range. Any other advice is welcome.

Post screenie later on...

Ok, so I finished, results below. Seems stable to me, I may up the multiplier a few more if I can see a difference in encoding times. Otherwise, I think its good. My only concern is the Voltages and Temp on core 1/2 are kinda high under load. But that isn't terrible considering I am running a stock Hyper 212+ (a push/pull may be in order??)
Kinda hard to tell in the Pics but:
Freq: 3.34
BLCK:133.75
Multi:25
VCORE: 1.256 (I had it set to 1.240, I guess it went up on its own)

Not as high of an OC as anyone else here, but I'm gonna have this chip for a long time to come, so best to play it safe.Tips on safely taking it a touch higher? Great to see this thread on OCN btw.

@SOCOM_HERO

Yeah, take it easy so you don´t wreck your family jewel

Isn´t that a nice way to overclock these new cpu´s, did you set it manual in the bios or did you push 4 at post to enable the "Turbo Unlocker" ?

It´s recommended to have the vcore at auto when you use the turbo unlocker together with the orther powersave function, so the vcore can follow the corespeed, 1,24 is what can expect with your setup.

Probably you have the stockcooler and then you can expect that high temp but that´s no problem because if you have the CPU TM Function enable it throttle down if it gets to hot.

I tried the turbo unlocker and I got +7,6,4,4 and it works just fine, it max out the vcore at 1,30 during load.

I put the voltages on fixed/auto which comes out to 1.24v. Also, cooler temps maxing at 70.
Since I am going lowball OC I put the bios settings in for each core manually +5,4,3,3. I don't even know if this board has the option for turbo unlocker at post.

Have you updated your bios?

Hey Cory, if you wouldn't mind putting up the latest Real Temp and CPU-Z in the OP since they offer better detection for our processors.

Real Temp: 3.59.3
CPU-Z: 1.54.2

Thanks!
