@ghostleader

NICE!!!...you just had to try it... I need to update my SIG...Since then I got 8GB and it only runs at 1600MHz. Anything above 1800MHz only 4GBs is detected during boot up. Possibly the limitations of the board? with the 860 I needed 1.425V VTT/IMC (I think there are the same VTT/IMC) for 4.2GHz

I think I got something stable now but HEAT OMG!!! its in the 90's with LinX so i didn't want to stress it out for too long...Right now idle temps are in the low 40's

Current cooling
Corsair 800D
Swiftech GTZ CPU Block
360 Swiftech Radiator

I'll grab some pictures of my current bios and my rig after lunch.

EDIT:

Hello i7 875k club! I'm a new member and a new to overclocking(been reading lots on basic i7 overclocking). After watching NCIXtechtips youtube vid on overclocking the i7 875k with the ASUS Turbo Unlocker, I was just wondering if gigabyte has such a feature that allows easy dynamic overclocking like that.

I am intending to go a store to grab my new rig (i7 875k yeah!) in 2 weeks but I'm actually stuck between p7p55d-e pro vs p55a-ud4p. I was inclining towards the ud4p but after looking at ASUS's new feature it's making my decision quite hard =((

So any suggestions guys?

Well, I was basically in your shoes a month ago. I got the basic P7P55D-E, but the UD4P is just as good, and cheaper. Maybe a slightly less feature rich board, but it still has SATA 3 and USB3. The ASUS feature is great for first time overclockers, just set your voltages accordingly as you bump up the multiplier.

Otherwise, the Gigabyte board might have something similar which allows you to do the same type of thing. No matter what brand you buy, make sure that you have the latest bios installed before doing any OC.

It might be better to get a higher end Asus board, like the P7P55D-E Pro or Premium depending on budget since they have more features like I/O level up, the trubo stuff.

Ok what I have so far...will post some screens after the testing finishes...

Set in bios

3769MHz
Multiplier 22
bclk 170
Vcore 1.30625
IMC 1.35150
DRAM 1.65625
PLL 1.80200 (auto)
PCH 1.06000 (auto)
LLC 0% Calibration
Mem Ratio 2:10 (1700)

I tried boosting the bclk to 180 but would BSOD after running the test and i went up to 1.4Vcore (from 1.30625). At this point i don't think anymore vcore would help...unless u guys think otherwise? Working to trying to get a bclk of 200 and 4GHz.
