What is up with firefox...

Thread Starter
It keeps hanging/freezing every like 10-15 seconds. Video/typing/browsing.... I started noticing it the past couple of weeks and now its getting on my nerves. I tried the firefox:about thing and change the save interval from 10 seconds to 300 seconds but still same issue....

Any idea how to fix this crap?

That is why I switched over to Google Chrome. Though some of the features I miss about FF, the stability of Chrome outweighs the FF features.

delete all traces of firefox and reinstall.

dont save bookmarks, history, cookies nothing.

I had to do it too. it worked for me.

there may be some other fix, but its not really worth the time i dont think..

x2

Even Chrome 6 Dev release is stable.
I skipped 5 which is Beta. So I went from 4 to 6 and it is blazing fast.

it must be a plugin or addon or firefox.

do what maxhudson suggested or try a portable firefox.

I never had this problem with Firefox. Were you running 3.6.3?
