I must suck at overclocking

Here's what I have it at now...
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1234144

I've been trying to get it up to about 3.8GHz today but when I set everything it BSODs while it's booting, and the speakers constantly emit a clicky-buzzy noise the entire time.

I set the voltage to 1.5625v, the CPU clock to 304 x12.5 and I kept my memory around ~500MHz since I had a feeling that was causing the problem. But that and any higher than what I have now and it's horribly unstable to the point of rarely even booting.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone care to help a noob? Also, at current speeds, I get about 30C idle and 56C during Prime95 testing.

i have never overclocked an AMD cpu, but it could be your mobo holding you back. the mobo i had before couldn't even hit a 400fsb = 1600 rated fsb and now i can hit 475 or 1900
all i changed was my mobo.

It's the PSU. 350W? Sparkle? Save up for a corsair, and get a new Motherboard while your at it.

I did want to get some better parts, but this PC had a three hundred dollar budget. Yeah, my family is poor. I guess I should find a job.

EDIT: Also, the errors on the bluescreens were along the lines of IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and I think I saw something about writing to read only memory. Who knows.

RAM fail. Try to run the RAM at stock only with stock volts, regardless of the CPU bus.
