Oh dear god that avatar, redwoodz.

And what are your load temps? Run LinX to stress, and SpeedFan to see the temps.

drop the HT link multi, no need to run it at 2400 best to keep it around 2000. Try running something like 270x14 on cpu, 270x9 on cpu nb and keep the ram at or below manufacturers spec.

whats the stock speed on that dual core? and for being on stock cooling if you keep having to raise the Vcore then your motherboard is hold you back your your HT link is too high. unless those cpus are not know to be able to do 25%+ overclock as your only 21% OVerclock...and i just newgged your cpu nvm

With that PC, I would keep the load under 50*C. But yea, keep the NB and HT at or below 2000. Easy to be unstable past 2000. Lower those multi's

Stock is either 2.8 or 2.9.... can't remember. Built a PC with one not long ago...

EDIT: Newegg says 2.8

Speedfan = pewp.

Use Coretemp instead (be sure to use OS appropriate version).
Try not to exceed 55C (100% load) when overclocked. 62C (100% load) is the upper limit for most AM3's.

these are upgrades you should get but then again you could just wait and save up some money and build a new rig later.

Speedfan and coretemp use the same sensor. I have always had identical results.
