Better cooling for GTX 260(216)

Thread Starter
Ya, so summer hit me a little hard and I noticed my EVGA GTX260 is starting to get a little warmer than I would like it to with pretty much stock clocks. I usually take the whole case in the shop and blow it out with compressed air every 2-3 months.

So, are there any aftermarket coolers that I can throw on it without stepping into H2o, for a reasonable price and pull the heat from it?

Try this before getting an aftermarket cooler.

I'd use two of these fans. If only I can do this on my GTX 480.

THX a bunch. I am gonna have to give that a try. My temps are not quite that high, but it seems that much over 65*C it likes to artifact in GTAIV and is really annoying me at this point. besides it's much cheaper and faster to mod than wait for a cooler to arrive in the mail.
If it doesn't work out that well, I'll prolly go for that AC xtreme cooler. Looks pretty nice to boot.

Just remember than the AC Accelero XTREME coolers tend to raise VRAM temps. So you should keep VRAM overclocks down to a minimum. None might be best.
