What for?

You're going to have to explain your setup and environment...

Otherwise, follow this guide:
http://blog.mclaughlinsoftware.com/2...s-7-static-ip/

And in step 5, you click the Advanced button, and it will bring up a screen to allow you to configure multiple IP addresses.

Thing is that it keeps interfering with other gadgets and when in proximity of my pc it kicks me out or they will keep fighting till one of then have signal lol. PC usually looses.

My neighbor had a similar problem and he had this done and no more issues since. Thats what Im trying to accomplish.

Okay... if you say so. I'm thoroughly confused, just to let you know.

Sounds more like a band-aid patch rather than a solution to the underlying issue, though I'm not understanding the underlying issue either Like what "it" refers to...

If your network is set up properly, all your devices are supposed to seamlessly connect, both to the wireless network, and in acquiring a network IP address...

Uh... two (or more) IP address that match the IP addressing scheme that your network is using; specifically addresses that are OUTSIDE the range of IP address that your DHCP servers can assign out....

You would also need the subnet mask information, as well as the default gateway information.

You can determine these last two by running ipconfig /all in a command prompt, or from the network connection information page.

yeah i dont get the issue either really and i dont see how multiple ip's on one machine will help unless you are joining multiple networks with different ranges?

so as i see it the problems could be:

-All your devices are on wireless and you just have poor signal and need a booster between your devices and the router. even the most basic of wireless routers can handle 50 devices.

-You have multiple wireless networks in the same area on the same channel (radio frequency whatever) that are conflicting. Change the channel on the router.

-youve set up a load of static addresses that are causing conflicts with dhcp.
