Why is everyone mad at engadget about valves data.

One large fact that no one is pointing out for some reason is that apple has the obvious advantage. Only intel macs can run steam. Apple has only used intel processors for the past 5 years. Meaning this data only shows macs made in the past 5 yearsand windows computers 10+ years old. Obviously windows based computers running steam are older on average throwing off the statistic. Now to more bull**** about how engadget sucks.

this.

Why are people so butt hurt about this? We know there are plenty of Athlon XP/Pentium users still running Radeon 9600's and Gefroce 5xxx cards playing CS and dod. Heck TF2 will run fine with a system like that.

That's because mac users are snobby, egotistical fools who think having 4gb of ram in their crappy dual core laptop makes it faster.

Calm down with the name calling bro. Stereotyping someone by the use of their OS and hardware is pretty low. Im sure there are more than enough Mac and PC users alike that are ignorant to certain aspects of how a Mac or a PC work, and how to effect its performance, this hardly makes that person a snobby egotistical fool.

4GB does improve system performance, lol.

Not for the average user.

90% of mac users I've met are elitists. And I don't mean the OS, I mean the actual mac systems.

Already posted back on page 18.

Yes, you could boot up steam on an intel 386 with 16mb of ram if you really wanted to. It's like comparing the average of the last 30 years of PCs against the last 2 years of macs.
