Where's HIS computer on mah hardware survey HM? >:/ It just goes to show you how many macs are actually running Steam at the moment! If there are millions of people, consumers, windows users who have installed Steam on their netbooks due to the messaging capabilities, then obviously you have a mal-formed survey.

Apple users are what? Hundreds, thousands? The data is unreliable for true definition.

This topic really shows who reads entire articles and who reads half of the article and who only reads the OPs post.

Yea exactly, only macs that you can buy come stock already loaded out which is why they are so much more expensive making this article pointless.

It's not pointless, it just shows an interesting statistic and explains it.

I'm not allowed to post the entire article though, but yes I think its best to read the entire article before posting

Which benchmarks did you run? I'm interested now.

everything on that article is trivially obvious, including this one

Of course, where it truly counts for games, Macs still sorely lag behind; the top six Windows GPUs reported are all capable performers, but only 32.5 percent of Macs surveyed had anything but a bottom-barrel graphics card. Get with the times, Apple

Macs are very nice if you like paying 3x as much for the same hardware. I wouldn't mind having one for use as a general pc sans the gaming.

I like how Engadget quotes percentages and not numbers - and there is some sort of bias anyway - only c2d owners with 4gb would want to run steam!
