Looking for people to trace route and ping me.

Thread Starter
I've lately been noticing that my pings on speedtest.net are generally higher the closer the location is to me. I've chalked this up to bad routing on my ISP's part... now I'm just looking for some confirmation.

So, if you can run a regular trace route (tracert ip in cmd) and then a continuous ping for around one minute, that would be lovely. (In cmd, type "ping ip -t" and after a minute do CNTRL + C to stop).

My IP is:
71.121.248.3

FRANCE?. I don't know if its accurate or not but if so... *shivers*.

Thank you in advance if you take the time to do this .

Even for london that is a horrible ping, what is confusing me is the 62ms difference on the last two. I'm within 30 miles of seattle...

When you did the continuous ping was there any packet loss?.

Why the hell is it routing it through Tiscali servers

Firstly, Tiscali no longer exists as a company and secondly why is it going to France?
No loss and avg ping came down to ~175. and you can take ~20 off that for my internal routing (im inside a very very big network).

Hey Thanks for taking the time to do this. You can copy text from cmd by right clicking the top border and going to edit - mark. Then you just drag it across the text you want to copy and control + c to save. Obviously you need to paste if after that .
