I've had countless "supervisor" escalations, countless technical and clerical error's on rogers side i've proven on multiple occasions. Still alot of technical on site billing issues, that deny me access to my online bill, that they've proven time and again don't work on their side to. And again, they're re proven time and time again that they fail to see that the customer is proven logically and legally correct and outright tell me i'm lieing time and time again when i've proven it in person to rogers reps, in person.

How can I leave rogers, regardless time point inside contract, without having to pay disco fee.. I'm dead serious, I want to switch/leave rogers as soon as it's possible...

- Le_Loup

P.S. Latest fail on rogers, is blaming me for fake water damage that never occured to a phone that shorted itself possibly on a charge when I woke up one morning, and most keys didn't work. Had a air fan on in room, window open, dry day, no water within 10 feet of device, previous history involved me never having phone near water, coffee, etc. Barely had phone for under 4 months or less, swapped for new phone, rogers billing me $200 for "water damage" on mother board that they have a "picture" of, that never occured in my possession.

If anyone wants a full complete copy of the corespondance, I can build a copy/paste, and with respect, i'll clear out any personal information for myself, and key potential last names of the rogers reps, but otherwise I see no problem sending anyone a copy for ****'s sake...

It's rather hard to leave any carrier mid-contract without paying a termination fee. You could always hope that they make some change to your plan, which usually means you could termination without having to a pay the fee.

Would this false fee be considered a change of plan though? Or is this a grey area they can rub in and "attempt" to charge me anyways, plus any extra fee's they deem worthy of burning me for?

If you complain, like try to get as high as you can in the corporate ladder, and literally list every single thing that you have had a problem with with them, and just say how you don't think it's acceptable service, then they will probably drop the fee.

AOL did this when I terminated my contract 6 months early, if you complain enough and have enough evidence, it becomes counter productive for them to try and keep you as a customer.

Kick up a stink.

I think a change of plan would be something like an increase in the cost of texts, or a change in the termination fee. Basically, a change to your contract. I know, it sucks being stuck. You could always take them to court, but chances are that would cost more.

Makes complete sense here, I've been doing this pretty much since day one a few years back, and due to me getting a BB earlier this year, contract is 3year henceforth again... lots of bsI call. Hell I work for shaw, and yes i've witnessed "brand new customer temporary rates for the first 3-6months" vs "continuing customers" not getting these same rates... being annoying... But again, at least shaw issues the fine print in detail for customers to see, where as rogers has not done so for me continually. Repeatedly...
