Well, eh physx means alot to me so I'd cough up the cash for it.

That list doesn't look much bigger than it did half a year ago.

Thread Starter
I see we have gotten very off topic here. For now I didn't ask for help on which GPU to choose, because I did not provide any information on that. For example I won't overclock the GPU. PhysX for example, well - I do not worry much about that (I think) because only a FEW games has it and without it I am sure I can survive and instead have a cooler and more quiet PC. But, CUDA? And the fact that Nvidia has like a lot more money to help game developers optimize their games for Nvidia cards for example. And Nvidia driver support. And past good experience with Nvidia, opposite Ati cards I have had - problems only.

Anyone knows anything about GTX 470 becoming better than HD5850 after drivers? Any benchmarks? Anything? Or is it just pure talk?

Mafia II will have physx, Batman Arkham Asylum has physx, so I mentioned two great games that have physx. And I know for a fact Mafia 2 will be a great game.

And I'm sure Batman Arkham Asylum 2 pc will have even more physx features when it comes out! The list might not be large as of right now, but more and more pc games are getting Nvidia's physx treatment!

Aren't they the only ones in the video card business? Ageia's video cards failed that they had to sell their phsyx features to Nvidia to make money!

Nvidias 3d vision is what I find considerably more interesting than physX. Im somewhat in the same boat as I am looking to upgrade but honestly there isnt enough performance incentive in this generation of cards to make the purchase feasible (imo).

Is ATI going to be supporting any 3d enhancements??

From the reviews i read and forum talk here that 480>5870>470>5850. So pretty much the 470 is between 5870 and the 5850. Im not a fanboy from the statement i have read in this thread i do have both 5870 xfire in one rig and the other has the 470 sli. i do favor the 470 in the visual aspect but i had trouble getting the sli running when i got my 2nd 470.
