[Gamestar.de] Iphone 4 to cost over 1000$ without contract - Page 3

post #21 of 90
Hey look, more anti-Apple nonsense.

Any unlocked smartphone is going to run into the hundreds of dollars price range. Nothing new for Apple or anyone else. And this is in Europe, which affects probably very few people on OCN. But I'm sure that won't stop any of you from ranting about it like whiny little girls.

You know for the people that just blindly follow what they see, there are alternatives.

Rogers in Canada for instance.

$299 for an iPhone 3GS 32GB... $400 Cancellation Price

Total = $700

Retail = $800

I only buy apple products because it satisfies my needs for I use.

Apple Pro products are for Professionals who buy it for the software they need.

Lower end products like the Macbook or the iMac are for people who just plain suck at computers.

PS:if you're trying to increase your post count just for saying APPLE SUCKS, this is totally stupid, then just leave.

How are you going to call him ignorant, and then say iMacs (which aren't low end at all) and "lower end macbooks", which come bundled with the exact same software as MBPs, are for people that "suck at computers?" That's makes absolutely no sense at all.

Do you guys even bother to think anymore before posting?

So, you're joining the fanboy club, eh?

You may not see it but everyone else does.

It's like a fat person who has their fly down, they can't look down there to see but everyone else sees it wide open

An unlocked smartphone will run into the hundreds... not thousands.

And actually, there are quite a few members here who live outside the US. Saying otherwise is just being ignorant.

yea, for the hardware, the price is ridiculously high. The i9000s which has the same Cortex a8 chip, but a better GPU is most definitely going to be around $600, which is quite a bit less than $1k.

I didn't say otherwise. But there are clearly more Americans here, which is what I said (if you had bothered to pay any attention at all to what I posted).

Yes, they will run into the hundreds of dollars.....in America. In Europe, electronics are ALWAYS lots more expensive. So this news should not really come as a surprise to anyone, nor will it affect 95% of OCN's population. Not to mention the high demand and inevitable short supply, of course the iPhone is going to be more expensive than normal.

Common freakin' sense right there.

But everyone will mindlessly continue to bash Apple, and call me a fanboy for stating the obvious truths.
