If your into gaming,and I'm sorry to say this,but you will a more powerful CPU and mobo to compliment the GTX470.It all depends on your budget and your preferences.You can try to sell your 8800GT's,CPU,RAM and mobo and use it towards a new system.AMD or Intel,I'm sure you can find some good deals out there.Either that or you can just tone your resolution down to 1600x1200.It's all up to you.

Recently upgraded from athlon x64 6000+ to phenom ii x4 965. Performance increase is "huge" got my games to 16AA and higher fps
So yea, CPU upgrade in your case would be very good.
Tho i have better overall hardware then you. So dunno
