HAF 932 = HighAirFlow That is the point of this case.
And yea, ofc, oldie will overheat with sides closed, since it doesn't have any fans... the one on back wasn't working, i r lazy to remove it

then what's your problem? also i'd rather change heatsink. that thing will not work very well in closed case, also that is why your temps have gone higher.
one more thing. idle does not count.

wow that seems strange, the HAD is supposed to cool like crazy. I think you've done something wrong while transferring your hardware. The Heatsink is my first question.

The usual stuff, seated properly? TIM? Forgot to apply it?
