The correct clocks are being reported, same drivers on bolth cards. Plus my xfx runs 25C hotter then my pny at same fan speeds. pny peaks at 70c at 50% and xfx peaks at 95+C at same fan speed.

And i have never had a problem with being ignored on there support tickets(when i talked to CS person, he apologized as they ARE supposed to answer within 24hours as there policy). XFX is an awesome company and i am not dogging them.
No, a big problem would be the card not working at all, your problem is minor, and I'm sure they will eventually figure it out.

The problem is that your not folding on them, jk.

Have to checked the clock speeds on them? I wonder if something is wrong with the card and its staying down clocked?

ok, ran DMC4 benchmark and XFX says that something is def wrong. bolth cards at stock(and same) speeds results are

XFX scene 1 138
scene 2 110
scene 3 161
scene 4 92

PNY scene 1 173
scene 2 134
scene 3 294
scene 4 113

They approved an RMA. Atleast this finally concured with my thoughts on my sli setup being difficult. As for the temps issue. that is with each card by itself. I would never consider sli temps as one will always be hotter then the other.

When I bricked my motherboard doing a bios update in windows (doh, shoulda known better) I had a RMA# in < 30 min (after tech support was trying to check other things) and besides the $$ to ship it to asus, I had the mb back with a fresh bios (they asked me which I was trying to update to and installed it for me)

+rep to asus rma (if they were ocn member)

ran vantage with the pny at stock and funny think happened. im guessing the xfx in now unstable at stock clocks. that is all i can guess as to why the score is that much different. GPU score is higher, cpu score is 3k lower, but overall score is higher..BTW the picture 1 is the xfx overclocked after i only got the 9199gpu score of first run while picture 2 is pny at stock

I think you missed my point. I agreed with you towards the end of my statement in regards to the fact that when I had a single HD5770, I was getting at least 11K points in Vantage where as you're GTX275 (which is much more powerful) is only getting 9K. That is a problem. But to open a trouble ticket with XFX in regards to a piece of software that they don't own or program for, stating you're not getting as many points as you should, I can see how they would not put that on the top of their priority list (unless of course, like I stated previously, you included all the troubleshooting steps you had already taken).

If my ticket queue had 50 open issues and one of them was regarding a piece of software that my company does not own or program for (and there was no troubleshooting steps provided in regards to the issue), you bet I would first address the more serious issues.

I did give xfx more data, but left it out here cause of how long it was. i do understand your point though.

Sorry... I wasn't trying to bash you in any way. When I posted yesterday it was towards the end of the day and I see way too many horribly logged tickets from our first level helpdesk. I saw this thread and got horrible flashbacks of "user can't login" and should have worded my posts better. Glad to hear that you were finally able to get in touch with XFX and hopefully they can get this issue resolved for you in a more timely manner.

EDIT: And by "user can't login" I mean that is the only thing written in the ticket. It's enough to make one insane by the end of the day. Again... sorry for my poor choice in words.
