epic Sony CRT - Page 2

Thread Starter
I am going to power it on before buying it to make sure they didn't put it too close to any big magnets or anything, it should bring up at least a NO SIGNAL OSD with nothing connected.

Not many quality ones at that size, and the few that are don't tend to be cheap.

G520's are excellent monitors and if it's in good working condition that price is a steal.

I thought the Sony FW900 was the Sony to get?

If I could fine one of these for a good price and in good condition I would jump all over it.

In my opinion the FW900 is the best PC CRT ever made overall, The main advantages being the 16:10 aspect ratio and larger 24" screen. I've owned an FW900 for over 5 years and absolutely love it, although they're becoming difficult to find these days.

I have an FW900 brochure you can view here: LINK

I also owned a G520 monitor for a few years and it was a VERY good monitor with excellent image quality, So If the OP can pick one these up for $25 it's definately worth checking out. But hopefully its in decent working condition.
