Big difference in temps going from H50 to Ven X?

Hey, im wondering if there will be a big difference in temps (idle/load) if i go from my h50 to a ven X. At my 1.344 vcore, my h50 idles at 45-46 C, and loads at 83 C. My ambients vary from around 24-25C. However, what i have noticed is that ambients make a huge difference for the h50. when i turn on air con and drop my temps like 5 degrees fahrenheit, i have seen it make up to a 5C difference in idle temps and like 3C difference in load temps. and since i dont want to have my Air con on too often, will the ven X be a big upgrade coming from a h50?

From what I have heard, VenX will give you slightly lower temps. I would guess it would be 80c instead of 83c at full load. Maybe a 1c difference for idle but idle temps dont matter.

I would only do it if you can sell the H50 for the same price you can buy a VenX.. btw what are your H50 temps at stock?

hmm never bothered to try at stock. if u want to know, i will gladly do it for u later, but right now im kinda doing my history project ehh, i was hoping for a bigger difference in temps :[ cuz this guy on a megahalem gets like 41 C idle temps and his vcore was like 1.388. and heard ven x and megahalem are very close in performance.

A push pull h50 should be better than all air coolers, or at least compete strongly enough so that it would be pointless to get a new cooler.

stock should be high 20's to mid 30's idle

low 50's to very low 60's load

u aren't push/pull or pull/push?. Two fans make a big difference. I had one, then two fans, saw a 5C improvement.

I changed from push/pull - intake to pull/push-exhaust and realized even better load temps.

get another fan for 15 bucks, huge improvement

Eww stock!

Anyways if you overclock to 4.0 with atleast 1.3vcore usually load should be 70c and idle is 40c.

I dont know why your getting 83c, ive never had that only when i have no A/C on for hours.

You can buy a brand new h50 for like $60 at BB.
So selling price would be $50 or less

woah... even at 1.232 load vcore on my 4.0 ghz oc, it still hits like 75 C so comparing to ur numbers, something is really wrong with my h50 lol.... and at 1.3 vcore that i need for 4.1, i hit 79 so either what ur saying is off, or my h50 is whack XD

Only reason to benchmark stock numbers is to verify TIM set/coverage.
