Extending Partition space?

Thread Starter
ATM I have a 250GB HDD and two partitions, my main W7 partition is a 40Gb partition and my Windows XP one (where all my data is only 120gb). The reason my Windows XP partition is so small is because my XP disc does not come with any service pack, therefore the maximum amount of space I can choose for a partition is only around 120GB, so I have roughly 70GB or so of unused space. Is there any program or any way I can extend my Windows XP partition so it uses the free 70GB?

Partition Wizard is a very good partitioning program-->

http://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html

You can create a new partition with the free 70GB's, and merge it with one of the other partitions if you choose-

I did try that, the 'extend' was greyed out, in the Disk Management part.

For future reference, the relevant Windows utility is to run DISKPART from the command-line.
